The Okefenokee Swamp Band played a mixture of bluegrass, jug band, old-timey, and pop/rock tunes --- in their bluegrass style. There were very few recordings made of this legendary Cass Corridor group. In fact, the recordings here were made the first night of my (much too brief) tenure with the band- circa 1977 as a learning aid for the band arrangements. They were made with a cheapie cassette recorder, placed on top of my bass amp, hence the obnoxiously loud bass track. The venue may be the Song Shop, but I'm not certain.

I also have a recording of Tennessee Waltz made that night, featuring Judith's awesome vocals, but I am unable to post it at this time due to (the song's) copyright restrictions.
